Construction Supervisor

We are currently looking for a Mechanical and E&I Supervisors who will be responsible for the supervision of subcontractor groups onsite in order to ensure compliance with quality and safety systems and to meet contractual requirements for the project.

The successful candidates will need to have a minimum of five (5) years industry experience in a similar position coupled with strong and proven ability to lead, direct and manage groups of diverse employees.

The responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:

  • Achieve consistent construction standards by supervising the work of contractors and subcontractors engaged in construction onsite.
  • Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with the requirements of the relevant specifications, codes and standards, which form part of the contract.
  • Assist the Construction Manager in controlling costs by accurately recording labour, materials and equipment expense for each aspect of the construction project.
  • Ensure that all personnel are inducted and trained in their roles and responsibilities and are competent to perform the duties allocated to them.

You will also be required to comply with all of Ausenco's corporate policies and procedures by adopting Ausenco's Quality Assurance and Occupational Health, Safety, Welfare and Environmental policies, procedures and requirements.  A trade qualification relevant to the construction industry would be highly regarded together with advanced communication skills are essential.
